Exam and Instructions

All courses and exams start at 8 AM.


Courses are either one or two days, depending on which program you are taking. Please refer to individual program descriptions for detailed information.

 

Prior to the exam familiarize yourself with the publications provided.


On exam day, there is a brief review of test procedures, followed by the written exam. Requirements for taking the exam are a No. 2 pencil and technician workbook. You may not use cell phones or programmable calculators during the exam. The examiners will provide calculators if you require one. The performance examination will begin after you finish the written exam. The exam takes place all day.


During the performance portion of the exam you will be working outdoors and with fresh concrete. Please dress accordingly.


In most cases, lunch will be provided at the exam location. You will be notified if there are any changes.
